Night of the Mother- One of the most prestigious dates to Garou; the Full Moon on the 9th Shine.
Each Garou will attend a party, usually held by members within their community or within their tribes to praise and celebrate Gaia for creating them. Each Lycan will bring a token, usually a piece of gold or something of worth to them, and bury it within the surrounding land. When all lycans have gathered, the host will address them with a short speach, thanking the Mother for her creation and asking for her blessing and protection for the coming Anno.
Pact of the Wolf (Happens Every Three Annos in the 2nd Shine. ) -
A celebration usually lasting for three suns and nights. They make an almost pilgramidge like trek to their capital (usually where the leader reigns, in this case Opes). There, in the castle and surrounding territory on the outskirts of town, a festival will be held, but not before the most sacred duties are carried forth.
The ruling Alpha will first call role of those that have passed since the last meet, after which a moment of silence will be held. Each Garou is expected to wear their finest clothing, before they will all transform into their Crinos form as a unit. The symbolism is as if they are shedding their human lives. From there, the celebrations begin, lasting without rest until the third and final night.
Unless for reason, no Crinos may transform back to Homid form, and it is expected that Garou will fight in contests, but only for fun and to settle old scores.
None may die on this night.
It is one of the times that the Alpha rule within the Litany does not apply, and any may challenge the Alpha to contest, though no disrespect will be bestowed should they loose, and there will be no transferal of power. It is all in jest and celebration they fight.
On the final and third night, the Garou will resume human form, where the Alpha will hold the closing ceremony, and draw the celebrations to a close.
