This mystical red orb has been around since the begining of the vampires. It is said to be a ravel of spells and witchcraft, which vampires of the oldage, including Elijah himself conjoured up when they created the Vampire Laws. With the old magic, the Orb of Sanguine is impregnatable, unless a vampire of strong standing and power is able to break through its spells. Which has not happened in the centuries since the orb was created.
As said, vampires who do not join with the orb, are to be killed; there is a simple test, which requies the druid vampires from celtic times; who created the orb with Elijah to be summoned. These druid vampires are not beautiful. They are feared by every vampire among them, even the Empress. They are vampires of old magic. There are vampires chosen to train to be druids, but they will have to loose there beauty to become powerful. When a vampire is chosen to become a druid, he has no choice. He will serve the high druids, and Caro, the god of flesh.
To test the orb, the druids will deafen the vampires senses, and chant the enchantment, which will hex the vampire, so when he puts his hand on it and the orbs smooth surface pricks outwards and cuts five holes in the tips of the fingers, absorbing blood, if he is not to be part already, he will be punished. Slowly destroying him by burning. If he already part of it, the orb will not react, and the hex will be removed with another enchantment from the druids.
