First of all, this type of Roleplay is referred to as "lit" rp, or "literature". This is because the way you write, is as if you were telling a story.

For Example:
The First person:
Mid Sun was always the best time for selling and buying, people of all ages coming out onto the streets to purchase goods, travellers moving in and out of the city of Opes and passing by, picking up things for their travels. The man that was slouched into the cart glanced over to the border, then back into the city. He grinned merrily to those that passed, before leaning up off it and beginning his proper duty. He began to shout away at the passing citizens, not to intimidate them of course, though that would have made the broad man laugh. He waved his hands towards the cart, signalling for people to come past and buy his goods as to which many did. He smiled happily, clasping his hands together before turning to look to one of the chickens he had strung upside down. His eyebrows shot up as he watched how it would swing side to side. Damn chickens.
This is referred to as a 'Starter' Due to Starting the threat.
Then, the second person may reply:
Keri, for lack of a better word, loved to mooch. She was known for being devilishly tricky to pin down, purely because she didn't enjoy staying stationary in the same place for too long. Leader of a Nation or not. She was a traveller at heart, and always would be. Besides, Thomas probably would find her. Eventually. Ish. Ok she'd find him first. The simple idea made Keri chuckle faintly to herself, flicking her head to the side as her too long fringe fell in her eyes.

You may notice the different lengths of the reply.
This is perfectly fine.
So long as your reply is at least 5 sentences long (one paragraph), it is completely valid. Some people Enjoy writting long detailed replies. Others, don't.

The Colours may also correspond to the character.
Some people may use more than one character in a post, and like to differentiate. Others, just like different colours.
We personally do not mind, so long as you have one colour per character.
It is not compulsory to have a colour, but it is compulsory to make sure your text is clear
You'll soon find your own style.

Now, what happens if more than one person joins in?
Simple.
You take it in turns.
The first person will post the starter, and then the second will reply.
In normal circumstance, the first person will reply then again. However, if someone else joins in, a sequence of replies will usually be established.
We ask you stick to this sequence, just to make it easier. It isn't compulsory, however to do so.
People are free to join and leave as they please, provided it sticks to the rules.
