Thoughts and Decisions

Heidi glanced over her shoulder to Brutus. She smiled at him. "Oh go on then if you're hungry," she laughed, waving her hand to signal for him to clean up the body with his mouth of course. She turned back towards them, nodding to a maid to pick up the dagger Elena dropped.

She then rose an eyebrow to Elena and Arianna, but smiled a little. "Go ahead, Arianna," she said slowly, but turned to the servants. "Leave the room. The blood will be too much and seeing a turning will affect weaker minds like yours," she spoke bluntly. The servants nodded and bowed, hurrying out of the room.

She waited until they'd all disappeared, before her eyes glimmered. "Proceed. Valdemar. You may want to comfort Elena whilst it's happening," she sighed, sitting back in her chair as she watched slowly.

Brutus looked to her with a smirk before he dived down the the body. His tongue licked the blood that had dripped from her throat, before his jaw wrapped around the wound. His fangs ripped into the flesh, forcing the blood to flood into his mouth. What didn't make it down his throat, dribbled lightly down his chin.

Valdemar looked Arianna with a light smile and a nod. He didn't look at the servants as they left. He closed his eyes slightly, preparing himself for the stench of the blood. Valdemar slowly took a hold of Elena's hand into his own. "It's all right. Once it's done, you'll have a family." he said as he patted it with his other hand.

Brutus let out grunts and odd noises as he drained the little girl dry.

Elena smiled lightly. "I'm ready." She said, turning her head so her neck was exposed. Arianna gently moved some hair out of the way, giving Valdemar a light smile before she lowered her head to Elena's neck. Her fangs extended as she slowly sunk them into the flesh.

Elena winced and on instinct, tried to pull away but Arianna held her firmly as the blood flooded her mouth. Elena tried to pull away again as the pain started to intensify. She soon ceased to struggle and Arianna pulled away, licking and remaining blood from her lips.

Pulling back the sleeve from her arm, Arianna extended a nail and cut her wrist. "Drink." She said, pressing her wrist to Elena's mouth. She smiled in relief as she felt the girl start to suck at the blood.

Heidi watched lightly from where she was sat, running her fingertips along the arm of the chair, her bright green eyes sparkling in the little light. She looked to Brutus from the corner of her eyes, then back towards Arianna and Elena. She tilted her head to the side, watching as the blood she could smell was obviously taken in by Arianna.

She smiled softly when she noticed Elena drink in return. "She'll turn into a fine Vampire if you do not baby her Valdemar," she said sternly, looking over towards him. She kept her eyes narrowed at him. "That means treat her as your daughter by all means, but do not wrap her in cotton wool. She will experience confrontation with human and Lycan alike. And other Vampire."

She paused and looked back gently, expectantly.

Brutus stood himself up, wiping the blood from his chin onto his sleeve. As Arianna's fangs sank into Elena's neck, the scent of blood filled Valdemar's nose. He closed his eyes, restraining himself from reacting to it. Brutus looked to the with a smirk before he moved back to Heidi's side.

Valdemar looked to Heidi as his eyebrows came together. "No danger of that." he said with a slight laugh. "Arianna on the other hand.." he said as he looked to her with a tilt of his head. "May need to be told again." he said giving a wink to his beloved.

Brutus cracked his knuckles. Rolling his shoulders as Heidi mentioned other vampires.

Arianna pulled her arm away once she thought Elena had enough, she pulled the sleeve back over her wrist, the wound had already started to heal. Elena seemed a litle groggy, until her eyes opened. They seemed more alive, even though she was now dead. The blue was much more brilliant.

"How do you feel?" Arianna asked, Elena turned to look at Elena. "Dead." She said dryly, but cracked a small smile. Arianna chuckled before looking at Valdemar. "Oh, shush." She said, narrowing her eyes playfully at him. "I'm sure she will have you wrapped around her finger." She said with another chuckle.

Elena smiled and turned to look at Heidi, she gave a bow of her head in respect. "Thank you for allowing me this opportunity."

Heidi watched gently, looking as Elena opened her new vampire eyes. She was much more beautiful now. Everything about her looked refreshing and alluring, even for a young teen. Heidi straightened her back against the chair and even allowed herself to smile when she heard Elenas reply to Ariannas question. She pushed herself up from her feet gently waving her hand to the side.

She looked between the couple, then smiled idly at Elena. "You're most welcome. You proved yourself worthy. You'll be a good addition to the race, and to the pair of them," she mused, looking up to the two of them, then back to Elena once more. "Listen to all they have to say to you and learn. Don't disappoint me," she said quietly, before adding. "And the three of you, in a Shines time, I want you to return. The three of you to see your progress," she added, before looking to Valdemar.

"I expect she'll be hungry for her first taste. I strongly suggest you take her hunting," she murmured, brushing a lock of her curled hair behind her ear and standing beside Brutus.

Valdemar laughed slightly at Elena's retort. He smiled lightly at the girls politeness as she thanked the empress. He scratched the side of his neck lightly as he looked to the empress whilst she spoke. "Of course." he said with a bow of his head. He then looked to the girl, patting her on the back lightly.

"Let's go and get you fed then." he said as Brutus snapped his jaws at the girl. Vampire or not, he'd still rip her throat out if given the order. Valdemar moved over to the door before turning and bowing to Heidi. "Always a pleasure, empress." he said with a light smile. "Come on." he said to the two of them before they disappeared out the door.

Brutus looked to Heidi at his side with an expression that said it all.
